Inter could move to sign Eintracht Frankfurt wing-back Filip Kostic on loan this month, but only if Aleksandar Kolarov leaves the club.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that an exit for the 36-year-old could prompt the Nerazzurri to move for Kostic, but only on loan.

Inter are looking at the left wing-back position as one of the main areas which could be reinforced during the January transfer window, with a backup to Ivan Perisic being targeted for the rest of the season.

Kostic has been a long-term target to eventually take over from Perisic for some time, but he could also arrive as a deputy for the Croat as early as this month.

Kolarov would have to leave the club first for this to happen, and in this case the club would seek a loan with a purchase option for Kostic who Eintracht value at around €10 million.
