Inter are targeting Borussia Monchengladbach left-back Ramy Bensebaini this month, but can only sign him on loan.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Nerazzurri are tracking the Algerian for a summer move but would also be ready to bring him in during the January transfer window.

Bensebaini is one of the main targets to replace Ivan Perisic in the long term should the Croat not extend his deal past the end of June.

The Nerazzurri are continuing to monitor the 26-year-old’s situation as they prepare for a possible move for him during the summer transfer window.

However, a move for the left-back as early as this month cannot be ruled out should Gladbach open up to an initial loan operation, with the Nerazzurri also considering looking for a backup option to Perisic on the left for the rest of the season during the window.
