Inter are optimistic that they will be able to find an agreement with midfielder Marcelo Brozovic on a contract extension.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reported live on air this evening that the club feel positive that they will be able to get a new deal for the 29-year-old wrapped up soon.

Brozovic’s current deal is set to expire at the end of June, and the club have made securing his future a priority given how vital the Croat is to the team on the pitch.

Inter have been in talks with the midfielder’s representatives since November, and they have been making progress towards reaching an agreement on a renewal.

Now, with the dialogue continuing to head in the right direction between the parties, the club feel that they should be able to get the deal done in a short period of time.
