Inter wing-back Ivan Perisic wants a wage increase to up to €6 million net per season in order to sign a renewal with the Nerazzurri.

This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, who reported on air this evening that the 32-year-old is currently asking for considerably more than the Nerazzurri will offer and is considering other possibilities.

Perisic is asking for wages of €5.5-6 million net per season in order to extend his contract past next summer, but the Nerazzurri are not ready to meet his request.

Over the coming days, the player’s agent will look to see if there are any offers from other clubs when he is available out of contract next summer, and then he will consider his options.

Should no offers arrive for a move away next summer, then the Croat will be ready to start negotiating on a contract extension with Inter.
