Inter-owned striker Facundo Colidio has completed a loan move to Argentine club Tigre for at least the rest of the season.

This was confirmed by Tigre’s President Ezequiel Melarana in an interview with Argentine broadcaster Radio Colonia – AM 550.

Colidio had spent last season on loan in the Belgian league with Sint-Truiden before a move to Austria Vienna fell through in the summer over administrative issues.

The Argentine has been looking for a loan club at which to find regular playing time, and had been reported as being close to a move to newly-promoted Argentine team Tigre as the window approached.

This looks to be the destination he has settled on, as the Argentine club’s President has confirmed that the move has taken place for the striker.

It is not yet clear the exact terms of the loan deal or whether Tigre have the option to bring the player in permanently, but just that it has been signed.

“He was having a hard time at Inter, he was on loan in Belgium but then returned and was looking for a club,” Melarana explained. “I can confirm his arrival here, I signed a loan deal with Inter some time ago.”
