Venezia coach Paolo Zanetti feels that Inter are currently the strongest team in Serie A and that they have what it takes to go all the way and win the title.

Speaking to Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport in an interview published in today’s print edition, the coach of the newly-promoted team gave the view that the Nerazzurri are a better side than all their rivals at the moment.

Inter sit four points clear at the top of the Serie A table, having overturned a gap that was as much as seven points to surge into a commanding position in the Scudetto race.

In their run of seven victories going into the winter break, the Nerazzurri showed that they have the quality to effectively beat all types of opponents.

Zanetti saw his own team easily beaten by an Inter side who barely looked to have gotten out of second gear, and they impressed him as the best in the Italian top flight.

Asked who he considers the top team in Serie A, the coach responded “Inter by far. Even compared to facing Atalanta in good form there’s no question, Inter are more complete.”

“This was even after we played one of out best matches and lost to them,” he added.
