Federico Dimarco looks set to start for Inter in their Serie A clash away to Bologna tomorrow afternoon.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the 24-year-old is likely to start in place of Alessandro Bastoni on the left of the defense for the Nerazzurri’s first match back from the winter break.

Hakan Calhanoglu is suspended for tomorrow’s trip to Emilia-Romagna, which will leave Inter without their main set piece taker, and so coach Simone Inzaghi will likely want Dimarco on the pitch to take set pieces.

Meanwhile, Arturo Vidal looks to be ahead of Roberto Gagliardini in contention to start in place of Calhanoglu in midfield.

In attack, the Nerazzurri will miss out on Edin Dzeko who tested positive for COVID, and Alexis Sanchez looks set to start in the Bosnian’s place, having started against Cagliari and Salernitana and come off the bench against Torino.
