Bologna will miss several players for tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Inter, with eight players in the Rossoblu’s squad now positive for COVID-19.

This is confirmed by an official press release by the Emilian club, reported by the Corriere dello Sport, which states that four more players have officially tested positive in addition to the four already known.

The likes of Aaron Hickey, Marco Molla, Nicolas Dominguez, and Nicolas Viola were all confirmed as having tested positive for the virus in the round of tests yesterday.

Now, the likes of Sydney van Hooijdonk, Gary Medel, Emanuel Vignato, and Federico Santander have all tested positive for COVID-19 as well.

All eight players will be in self-isolation in their homes as per the public health guidelines, and the Rossoblu will not be able to include them in the squad for the match.

With two Bologna players already away with the African Cup of Nations, it remains to be seen how the team will be able to cope with this setback.
