Former Inter midfielder Christian Eriksen wants to return to the San Siro after having officially left the Nerazzurri, though he is not yet sure when this will be.

Speaking to to the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, the 29-year-old made clear his desire to be back at the San Siro at some point in the near future.

Eriksen officially left the Nerazzurri last month after his contract was terminated by mutual consent once it was clear that he would not be able to play for the club again due to health and safety regulation.

What the Dane’s next move will be is not yet clear, but he is certain that he would still like to once again be at the San Siro even if it is only as a fan and no longer as a player with the club.

Eriksen’s return to the stadium will be an emotional moment, and should give him and the fans a chance to properly say goodbye to one another.

“I don’t know just when I’m going back to San Siro,” he explained, “but I certainly know that I want to do it.”
