Former Napoli and Torino defender Giancarlo Corradini has said that Inter looks the most likely to win the Scudetto this season, according to a report in the Italian media.

Speaking during an interview with TuttoJuve, Giancarlo Corradini explained that the numbers are showing that Inter are the favourites and they have found continuity after seven straight victories.

“Today’s numbers prove Inter are favourites, who have found continuity and results. There are still many matches between now and the end of the season. And Juve are not out of the championship fight as long as the numbers allow them to return.”

Inter went into the Christmas break with a four point lead over AC Milan at the top of the table but after the postponement of the match against Bologna on Thursday and the Rossoneri’s 4-1 win over AS Roma, that gap has been cut to one point.

Stefano Pioli’s side was impressive in that victory and have players returning from injury, meaning Inter must be very wary of their neighbours.

Former Inter striker Mauro Icardi is now being linked with a move away from Paris Saint Germain so that he can join Juventus for the rest of the season.

“100% sure. It would solve many problems even if counting on just one player becomes risky. Juventus would also need an alternative to Icardi.”
