Inter are aiming to announce the contract extension of midfielder Marcelo Brozovic by the end of the month.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are hoping to have everything wrapped up on the new deal for the Croat before the end of January.

Inter have been in talks to extend with Brozovic’s representatives over the past couple months working towards an agreement on a new contract, with his current contract expiring at the end of June.

Talks have progressed well, and the parties appear to be in the stage of putting the final details on an agreement which will see the 29-year-old earn a net of €6-6.5 million plus add-ons on a new four-year deal.

Once things are completely worked out, the club will be eager to officially announce that they have secured the future of the key man in their squad.
