Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi has turned down an offer to join Sampdoria for the remainder of the season.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the 26-year-old is not convinced by the style of football at the Blucerchiati and is not interested in a loan.

Sensi has found his playing time limited over the first half of the season by injuries and by the wealth of options in midfield at the Nerazzurri.

A move away on loan in search of more regular playing time to get back to his best form has been considered for the midfielder.

Fiorentina and former club Sassuolo have emerged as possible candidates for the 26-year-old to play at for the rest of the campaign, though these have not led to anything concrete yet.

Sampdoria have come forward with a proposal for Sensi, but the player is not interest, and looks likelier to remain at Inter for the rest of the season.
