Inter’s match against Lazio tomorrow evening in Serie A will be officiated by Luca Pairetto, a referee who has taken charge of clashes involving the Nerazzurri on eight previous occasions.

This is highlighted by Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who note that of these eight matches, the Nerazzurri have won six, drawn one, and lost one.

Pairetto has already taken charge of one Inter match this season, the 2-1 away win away to Sassuolo early in October.

The Nerazzurri came from a goal down to win against the Neroverdi in a clash which saw Pairetto decide not to send Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic off for a clash with striker Gregoire Defrel.

Inter will be hoping that similar incidents involving the officials’ decisions are avoided when they host the Biancocelesti tomorrow, but they will be seeking the same result.

The precedent suggests that when Pairetto is in charge, Inter have a good chance of taking all three points, although they will not be taking anything for granted against Maurizio Sarri’s side.
