Lazio head coach Maurizio Sarri expects his side to come up against difficult challenge when they face Inter tomorrow evening in Serie A.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of the Biancocelesti’s trip to the San Siro, as reported by FCInterNews, the Italian coach emphasized the Nerazzurri’s dominance in a number of statistical categories in underlining the challenge of facing them.

So far this season, Lazio are the only team to have defeated Inter in Serie A, coming back from a goal down to produce a 3-1 win over Simone Inzaghi’s men at the Stadio Olimpico.

However, Sarri knows that doing this again or even getting a point against the defending champions tomorrow will be by no means straightforward.

He is still ready to see his side give everything in search of a result tomorrow, but freely concedes that the clash with Inter at the San Siro will be one of their toughest fixtures.

“Tomorrow will be a difficult match,” Sarri stated. “I hope to see my team play with courage against a strong team with extraordinary statistics. We’re playing in a difficult away stadium, we need to show courage and no hesitation.”
