Alexis Sanchez is set to start alongside Lautaro Martinez in attack for Inter in their Serie A clash with Lazio this evening.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Chilean is ahead of Joaquin Correa to play from the start in the clash.

Edin Dzeko is back in the squad after being confirmed to be negative for COVID, but the Bosnian will not be ready to play from the start so coach Simone Inzaghi is set to give Sanchez the start.

Meanwhile, Martinez is one booking away from suspension, and Inzaghi will make sure to emphasize to the Argentine the importance of avoiding a yellow card in order to make sure that he is available for the Nerazzurri’s Supercoppa Italiana clash with Juventus taking place on Wednesday.

The Gazzetta’s complete predicted eleven for the clash is as follows:

INTER (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Vidal, Perisic; Lautaro, Sanchez.
