Inter President Steven Zhang is totally happy with how head coach Simone Inzaghi has fit into the team.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper La Repubblica, who report that the President has reiterated to Inzaghi that he feels that there are no complaints about the job done so far.

Inzaghi had established a positive reputation for himself within Italian football for the work he did across more than five years in charge at Lazio.

However, making the step up to replace Antonio Conte as coach at Inter after last season’s Scudetto campaign was always set to be a significant challenge, especially with the team losing key players during the summer transfer window.

However, the club decided to show faith in the 45-year-old as the right successor to Conte, and this has been rewarded with the team’s excellent form across the first half of the campaign, which Zhang has been keen to emphasize has more than met expectations.
