Inter will be watching Lazio defender Luiz Felipe with a view to a potential free transfer in the summer when they face the Biancocelesti in Serie A this evening.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that the 24-year-old will be scouted for his performance at the San Siro later today as he is a transfer target for the summer.

Felipe’s current deal with the Biancocelesti is set to expire at the end of June, and as of yet he has not agreed on an extension.

Should the Brazilian leave Lazio on a free transfer, the Nerazzurri would be one of the main clubs with an interest in his signature, with coach Simone Inzaghi having worked successfully with the defender while in charge of the Biancocelesti.

Felipe will have an important role at the heart of Lazio’s defense this evening with his usual partner Francesco Acerbi out injured, and the Nerazzurri will be watching how he does.
