Edin Dzeko and Martin Satriano have fully recovered from COVID-19 ahead of tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Lazio.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, who report that the Nerazzurri pair have been cleared to return to training ahead of tomorrow’s match.

Dzeko and Satriano both tested positive for COVID upon returning to training from their winter holidays, as did third-choice goalkeeper Alex Cordaz.

The players had been self-isolating in their homes waiting to test negative for the virus, but now both have been confirmed to no longer be positive and have had the necessary post-virus examinations done by the club’s medical staff.

Despite these two strikers being back in the squad in time for tomorrow’s clash, Alexis Sanchez and Lautaro Martinez are still the two favourites to start in attack for the Nerazzurri against the Biancocelesti.

Meanwhile, Hakan Calhanoglu returned home from training early as he will serve his one-match suspension in tomorrow’s match.
