Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni showcased the full range of his game in yesterday’s Serie A win over Lazio, according to Italian media.

The 22-year-old is awarded a score of 7.5/10 for his display by Italian news outlet L’Interista, who praise him for his goal and all-around performance to help the Nerazzurri to an important win.

Bastoni scored the Nerazzurri’s opener with a drilled long-range strike which found the bottom left corner, while he also assisted Milan Skriniar’s second-half winner with an excellent delivery into the box.

These contributions highlighted what the 22-year-old can bring to the team in attack, but his all-around game also shone throughout his display in all phases of play.

Bastoni was the one defender not to be partially at fault for Lazio’s first-half equalizing goal, and he looked composed both defensively and in possession throughout the ninety minutes, and he was the Nerazzurri’s standout performer in the view of L’Interista.
