Representatives of Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic are expected in Milan next week to finalize his contract extension.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that only the finishing touches need to be put on the agreement for a new four-year deal for the 29-year-old.

The Nerazzurri have been in talks with Brozovic’s representatives for the past months over the past two months over an extension, with the Croat’s current deal set to run out at the end of June.

The talks have progressed well with both parties keen to find an agreement, and the player looks set to sign a new four-year contract which will see him earn upwards of €6.5 million net per season.

The player will concentrate on Wednesday’s Supercoppa Italiana clash with Juventus and then the Serie A match away to Atalanta over the weekend, and then next week his representatives will meet with the club in the hopes of wrapping up his extension.
