Inter will be without defender Matthijs de Ligt and wing-back Juan Cuadrado for the Supercoppa Italiana clash against Inter on Wednesday evening.
This is confirmed by the ruling of the Sporting Judge in Italy, who upheld both players’ suspensions for the clash in their ruling today, as reported by FCInterNews.
Yesterday’s match between Juventus and Roma ended in a 4-3 win for the Bianconeri after a second-half comeback, but also proved costly in terms of suspensions for the Supercoppa Italiana match.
Cuadrado picked up the last yellow card needed to be handed a one-match suspension which he will serve in the Supercoppa match, while de Ligt was sent off late on while giving away a penalty for a handball in the area.
Juventus coach will have to select his team to face the Nerazzurri on Wednesday without either player, as their suspensions have been officially upheld for the match, from which Serie A disciplinary actions carry over.
