Edin Dzeko looks set to return to the starting eleven for Inter, and will start alongside Lautaro Martinez in attack in tomorrow’s Supercoppa Italiana clash with Juventus.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who report that the Bosnian is favourite over Alexis Sanchez to start the match in attack for the Nerazzurri.

Dzeko was restricted to an appearance from the bench in Inter’s Serie A win over Lazio on Sunday, having only returned to training a couple days before the match due to a period of self-isolation due to a positive COVID test.

However, the 35-year-old should be all ready to play from the start in tomorrow’s clash with the Bianconeri and is likely to come straight into the starting eleven.

The Corriere’s complete predicted eleven for the match is as follows:

INTER (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Perisic; Dzeko, Lautaro.
