Inter are getting ready to officially announce the contract extension of Marcelo Brozovic until the end of June 2026.

This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reported in the Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInter1908, that the Nerazzurri are preparing the official press release to announce the 29-year-old’s new deal.

The Nerazzurri have been working over the past couple months to find an agreement with Brozovic and his representatives on a new contract with his current one set to expire at the end of June.

The talks with the Croat’s representatives have progressed well, with the player set to earn around €6 million net per season plus add-ons, which is roughly equal to what Lautaro Martinez earns at the club and was enough to convince him on the new deal.

The presence of club President Steven Zhang in Milan has been enough to get everything completely wrapped up on the extension, which the club will soon officially announce, according to Pedulla.
