Inter are looking for a left-sided player to back up Ivan Perisic this month and their main targets are Empoli’s Fabiano Parisi, Borussia Monchengladbach’s Ramy Bensebaini, and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Nerazzurri will look to sign a deputy for Perisic in the January transfer window, though this could only be on an initial loan.

Aleksandar Kolarov looks to be headed for the exit door, or possibly retiring from football entirely, while Federico Dimarco is seen as mostly an option on the left side of the backline.

Accordingly, the club are prioritizing their search for a player who can fill in for Perisic when he is out or needs a rest, and they look to have narrowed down their list of names especially with Everton’s Lucas Digne now close to a move to Aston Villa.

It remains to be seen if the Nerazzurri will be able to secure a loan switch for any of their main targets, however.
