Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi has already defeated Juventus twice in Supercoppa Italiana matches, and he will hope that he can make it three times tomorrow.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who note that the 45-year-old has a positive record in the Supercoppa Italiana fixture while coach of Lazio.

The Nerazzurri have the chance to win their second piece of silverware under the ownership of Suning tomorrow, playing in the Supercoppa as Scudetto holders, whilst Juventus will play as last season’s Coppa Italia winners.

Inzaghi has twice played in the Supercoppa match, once after having lost to the Bianconeri in the Coppa Italia final with Lazio and once after having won the competition with the Biancocelesti.

On both occasions, the coach faced Juventus, and on both occasions he won, first with a dramatic 3-2 victory and then with a 3-1 win.

Now he guides Inter into the match for their first time under Suning, and if the coach can make it three wins from three in the Supercoppa he’ll draw level with Max Allegri’s record of three wins in the competition, one behind the four that Marcello Lippi and Fabio Capello have achieved.
