Cagliari have inquired about the possibility of signing young Inter striker Martin Satriano on loan for the rest of the season.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Rossoblu are targeting the 20-year-old although the Nerazzurri and the player want assurances of playing time.

Satriano looks set for a loan during the January transfer window, with the Uruguayan having barely featured across the first half of the campaign, and the priority being to find him a club where he can play regularly and develop.

A number of clubs have emerged as suitors for Satriano over the rest of the season, including Basil as well as clubs in Italy and Spain.

Cagliari are interested in loaning the young striker in, though both the player and Inter are still considering the offer and whether or not he is likely to find adequate playing time compared to other clubs who can guarantee him a prominent role.
