Edin Dzeko looks set to make his return to the Inter starting eleven today against Juventus in the Supercoppa Italiana, while Denzel Dumfries should start on the right of the team.

This according to yesterday’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that Dzeko and Dumfries are favourites to start the match ahead of the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Matteo Darmian respectively.

Dzeko was restricted to an appearance from the bench against Lazio over the weekend, having only returned to training a couple days before the match due to having originally tested positive for COVID.

However, the Bosnian is now back in training for the past few days, and looks likely to start alongside Lautaro Martinez in attack against the Bianconeri, although there is still a small chance that Sanchez could be given the nod.

Meanwhile, Dumfries also started against Lazio on Sunday, and looks set to keep his place ahead of Darmian, and continue the run of good form he has shown in the team since before the winter break.
