Torino are looking to extend the contract of Inter- and AC Milan-linked defender Bremer past the end of June 2023.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Granata are working to renew with the 24-year-old, though this would not preclude a sale for him in June.
Bremer has emerged as a major target for the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri as well as Napoli and several clubs in the Premier League, La Liga, and the Bundesliga.
The Nerazzurri are foremost among the Brazilian’s suitors, though they would wait until the end of the season to move for him during the summer transfer window.
Bremer’s contract is set to run out at the end of June 2023, and the Granata want to avoid a situation where he could go into the final year of his contract and potentially leave on a free transfer.
Accordingly, they are offering the defender a new deal worth a net of €1.8 million per season which would take him until the end of June 2024, with a unilateral option for the club to extend his deal.
The aim of this would not be to necessarily keep hold of the player, but rather to monetize his sale as early as this summer, with the Granata seeking a fee of €25-30 million for the defender.
