Inter target Andre Onana has once again discussed the fact that he is destined to leave Ajax at the end of his current contract which expires in June 2022, according to a report in the American media.

Speaking to The New York Times whilst on international duty with Cameroon at the Africa Cup of Nations, the goalkeeper explained that whilst he has given his everything whilst he has been at the Dutch club, it is time for him to move on.

“I think my time at Ajax is already over. I gave everything for this club. But I don’t decide who plays and who doesn’t.”

Andre Onana has just come out the other side of a nine month suspension for a doping violation. He has been very open about how hard it was to remain fit and ready to play again.

“Disqualification? You can train as much as you want, but in the end you train to play. And if you don’t, it affects you mentally and physically.”

Whilst it has not been officially announced that Andre Onana will be an Inter player next season, many reports suggest he has already reached an agreement with the club for his contract and will join the club in the summer.
