Inter forward Alexis Sanchez has been praised heavily for his dramatic winning goal against Juventus in the Supercoppa Italiana final, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by L’Interista, multiple Italian news outlets gave Alexis Sanchez a very high rating even though he did not play the whole match.

The Chilean forward was brought on in the second half to replace Lautaro Martinez and did not have too drastic an effect on the game at that stage. With the final kick of the game though in extra time, he sealed the victory for Inter by smashing the ball past Mattia Perin from close range.

La Gazzetta dello Sport gave him a rating of seven out of 10, as did Tuttomercatoweb. Corriere dello Sport were slightly more generous, giving the former Manchester United player 7.5 out of 10. The highest score came from L’Interista who felt he deserved a score of eight out of 10.
