Inter forward Alexis Sanchez could prove his worth to Inter and remain at the club until the end of his current contract, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Chilean forward has seemed destined to leave the club for many months now after he was not getting the playing time he wanted and the club grew tired of his regular injuries.

Whilst a departure in the summer is still not unlikely, the recent upturn in both form and involvement for the former Manchester United man means that he could remain as part of the Inter squad playing a rotational role with Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez.

Alexis Sanchez recently turned 33 and he will be under contract with Inter until 2023. It is possible that the club will just keep him until the contract runs out rather than pay money to break the contract.
