Inter Players Have Had Pictures With The Supercoppa At Appiano Gentile, Italian Media Report

Inter players have continued their Supercoppa Italiana celebrations by having photos with the trophy at the Appiano Gentile training ground, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been reported by FCInternews today, match winner Alexis Sanchez was the player who brought the trophy onto the pitch at the training ground to have pictures taken with it.

Inter won the trophy on Wednesday evening after beating Juventus 2-1 in extra time. The Nerazzurri had fallen behind in the first half after Weston McKennie headed past Samir Handanovic but a penalty from Lautaro Martinez meant that Inter went in at the break level.

Despite creating many more chances than Juventus over the course of the match, Inter could not find a way to win the game within 90 minutes.

Extra time followed and that is when Alexis Sanchez managed to score the winning goal with the final kick of the game.
