Inter President Steven Zhang feels that the hard work is paying off after the Nerazzurri’s Supercoppa Italiana victory over Juventus on Wednesday night, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport, there is a growing enthusiasm around the club and amongst the ownership about the direction that the club is heading.

The Supercoppa Italiana triumph meant that various people in the squad and club received bonuses from Suning and the executives including Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio are about to sign their new contracts with the club.

That shows the unity that is now amongst those running both the football side of the operation and the financial side which whilst still in a precarious position, is much more stable than it was last summer.

Marcelo Brozovic is also likely to be signing a new contract soon to increase the mood further.
