Simone Inzaghi is now the youngest coach to have won the Supercoppa Italiana with two different teams, according to a report in the Italian media today.

As has been highlighted by Tuttosport today, the former Lazio coach won the Supercoppa Italiana with the Biancocelesti back in 2017 and in 2019. He then won the same trophy with Inter on Wednesday night. He has beaten Juventus in all three finals.

By achieving this feat at the age of 45, he has beaten the record set by current Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri who won the Supercoppa with both Juventus and AC Milan by the age of 48.

After that, there is current Everton boss Rafael Benitez who won the Supercoppa with both Inter and Napoli by the time he was 54, one year younger than Fabio Capello who won it with AS Roma and AC Milan during his career.

Inter won the match 2-1 after the game went to extra time.
