Legendary former Inter, Real Madrid, and Roma striker Antonio Cassano is impressed with the amount of work that Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi does to improve himself and the team.

Speaking on Christian Vieri’s Twitch channel, as reported by FCInterNews, Cassano praised the Inter boss for the constant drive to continue learning and improving shown since his arrival at the club.

Inzaghi came highly regarded when he joined Inter from Lazio over the summer, where his unique tactical setup and incisive counterattacking style of football brought a period of success to the Bianconeri.

The 45-year-old was expected to implement a similar style of play to that which his Lazio side played, and there are similarities to the two teams, but at the same time there has been an observable evolution to his ideas.

Cassano is a fan of what he’s seen from the coach, and feels that these improvements owe to the amount of dedication and workrate that the Nerazzurri boss has.

“As I understand it, he spends fourteen hours a day at the training ground,” he said of the coach. “Inzaghi is a coach who never stops studying.”

“He gets the best out of all his staff, and under him the team can reach great heights not just in Italy but also in Europe,” he added.
