Former Juventus midfielder Massimo Mauro has said that Inter has the best attack in Serie A and ranked Sassuolo attack ahead of Juventus’, according to a report in the Italian media.

Speaking during an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Massimo Mauro was discussing the quality of the attacking options in each of Serie A’s front runners.

He felt that Inter was the most dangerous, given the Nerazzurri are the league’s top scorers, followed by Atalanta and AC Milan.

“First, Inter. Second, Atalanta. Then, AC Milan.”

He then said that before Juventus, Sassuolo must be mentioned. This is because he is a fan of Gianluca Scamacca and Giacomo Raspadori, as well as Gregoir Defrel.

“And before Juve, in my ranking, there is also Sassuolo. Do I exaggerate? I am a great admirer of Scamacca and Raspadori and, on another level of football, I also like Defrel.”

The two Italian Sassuolo forwards have been heavily linked with moves to Inter as well as Juventus over the past few weeks as they continue to impress under Alessio Dionisi. Gianluca Scamacca in particular appears to be a player that a bidding war will take place for.
