Inter have found themselves gaining momentum with their project, most recently with their Supercoppa Italiana win, but to keep it up they must reinforce the squad in the summer.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri will be looking to keep strengthening all over the pitch starting in June or even this month.

A role which the Nerazzurri are prioritizing strengthening in the near future is the left wing-back position currently held by Ivan Perisic.

A deputy for the Croat could arrive as early as in the January transfer window should the right signing become available, but even more certain is that a player will be recruited in the summer window to replace Perisic long-term.

In midfield Arturo Vidal and Matias Vecino are set to depart, and so at least one player is likely to be on their way in, with Sassuolo’s Davide Frattesi looking to be the key target.

In defense, Torino’s Bremer looks to be the main objective for the Nerazzurri, especially in the event that Stefan de Vrij departs next summer.

Meanwhile, it remains to be seen what the club do in attacking areas, with the possibility of one more season with Alexis Sanchez in the rotation as well as of Andrea Pinamonti returning to the first team from loan with Empoli given his form this campaign.

However, should the club decide that new signings must be brought in to bolster the attack, they will not hesitate, with Nervoerdi striker Gianluca Scamacca especially admired.

Inter will not rest on their laurels, according to Tuttosport, and are already planning to reinforce and overhaul the squad as needed to keep their winning cycle going.
