Matteo Darmian is set to come into the starting lineup for Inter for tomorrow’s Serie A clash with Atalanta.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, who include the 32-year-old in their predicted starting eleven for the match and report that he is likely to take the place of Denzel Dumfries.

Darmian had been in fine form prior to a thigh injury picked up in a Serie A clash, which ruled him out for a few matches towards the end of December.

Dumfries played in the 32-year-old’s place, and the Dutchman made the position his own with his displays, having also been selected for the Nerazzurri’s Serie A clash with Lazio and their Supercoppa Italiana win over Juventus this month.

However, Darmian will once again get a chance to shine in the starting eleven against La Dei tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the Corriere reports that Alexis Sanchez will be included in the starting eleven tomorrow despite his goalscoring heroics off the bench against Juventus in the Supercoppa, and predict a starting front pair of Lautaro Martinez and Edin Dzeko.
