Inter have made Eintracht Frankfurt wing-back Filip Kostic and Borussi Monchengladbach left-back Ramy Bensebaini their main targets to back up or replace Ivan Perisic on the left of the team.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that the Bundesliga duo are foremost in the Nerazurri’s thinking for the left-sided position.

Inter are still working towards signing a left-sided player who can deputize for Perisic across the second half of the season during the January transfer window.

Kostic and Bensebaini are the two players who they are most interested in, especially as both are among the main candidates to replace the 32-year-old in the long term.

It remains to be seen, however, if an agreement will be found on an initial loan move for either player, which is likely to be the only way that any player in the position is brought in this month.
