Legendary former Inter striker Alessandro Altobelli believes that the signing of Juventus forward Paulo Dybala on a free transfer is an opportunity that the Nerazzurri cannot miss.

Speaking to Italian broadcaster RAI Radio, the former striker emphasized how significant of an arrival the Argentine could be amid reports that the Nerazzurri could capitalize on his contract situation and sign him in the summer.

Dybala is yet to agree on an extension with Juventus, with his current deal with the Bianconeri set to expire at the end of June.

It remains to be seen what the outcome of talks between the 28-year-old and his club are, but should he decide not to accept a contract offer, then he would be one of the highest-profile players available on a free transfer in the summer.

Inter are one of the clubs keenest on signing Dybala should he be available, and Altobelli believes that they absolutely must if it is possible to do so.

“I’d walk to Turin to go and get him,” he said, ” In my opinion Dybala is one of those few players left who has that creative spark that can change a game in an instant.”

“He only has one year left on his deal at Juve, and I’d love to see him at Inter, he’s an excellent player,” he continued. “When certain opportunities come up, you can’t let them slip away.”
