Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi is considering whether to accept Sampdoria’s loan offer for the rest of the season and who they appoint as head coach will be a key factor in his decision.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the 26-year-old will hold a potentially decisive meeting about his future today.

Marco Giampaolo looks set to return as head coach of the Blucerchiati after the sacking of Roberto D’Aversa, and Sensi is considering linking up with the coach at the Ligurian club.

The 26-year-old has found playing time limited so far this season by injuries and by the wealth of options in his position, and the club would allow him to leave on loan in search of more playing time over the rest of the campaign.

Sampdoria have looked to be the keenest on Sensi’s signature, and he was initially likelier to reject their advances, but he is hoping to find form with regular playing time especially in view of getting ready for the World Cup, and he could decide to link up with Giampaolo at the Blucerchiati.
