Former Palermo midfielder and teammate of Paulo Dybala Francesco Della Rocca feels that Inter could sign Dybala but that they must have the money to do so.

Speaking to Italian news outlet TuttoJuve.com, the 34-year-old suggested that the finances involved in a deal could be key to whether or not the Nerazzurri are able to convince the Argentine to make the switch on a free transfer in the summer.

Dybala has been linked with a move away from the Bianconeri over the summer now that it looks less certain than ever that he will be able to agree on a contract extension with his current club.

Should the 28-year-old not renew with the Bianconeri, then the Nerazzurri would be chief among his suitors on a free transfer during the summer transfer window.

Della Rocca feels that Juventus must prioritize keeping the Argentine in their squad beyond the summer, but that if they are unable to then Inter could well pounce.

“Dybala is the best player in this Juve squad,” he said. “The Bianconeri must renew him.”

And on a move to the Nerazzurri he said that “I wouldn’t rule it out. It depends on whether Inter have the money to sign him.”
