Inter have turned down a request by Sampdoria to have part of Stefano Sensi’s wages paid by the Nerazzurri during his dry loan at the Blucerchiati.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that the Nerazzurri are not interested in a loan deal that would see them cover any of the 26-year-old’s salary and want the Ligurian club to pay his full salary for the duration of the loan.

Sensi looks to be close to a move to Sampdoria, having come to an agreement with the club, while the two clubs are ready to try and work out a deal for a dry loan for the rest of the season.

However, during talks today, the Blucerchiati asked Inter to pay part of the midfielder’s wages, with the Nerazzurri firmly turning down the request.

The two clubs are still working to find an agreement on a dry loan move for Sensi, but the Nerazzurri are not interested in any arrangement that would see them pay any of his wages for the duration.

For now, Sensi remains an Inter player and will be called up for tomorrow’s Coppa Italia clash with Empoli, according to the report.
