Inter are seriously considering a loan exchange of midfielder Stefano Sensi for Sampdoria’s Morten Thorsby.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who reported that the Nerazzurri are in discussions with the Blucerchiati regarding the possibility of an exchange of the two midfielders on a loan basis.

Sensi is a target for Sampdoria, who have emerged as the club with the keenest interest in signing the 26-year-old on loan for the rest of the season.

It remains to be seen if the midfielder would ultimately accept an offer from the Ligurian club, but were he to then Inter would not likely stand in his way, while they could also look to reinforce their midfield by bringing Thorsby the other way.

The exchange would only see both players move clubs on loan deals and not on a permanent basis, though the precise formula for any possible deal between the clubs remains to be seen.
