Valencia and Lazio have both come forward with offers for Inter midfielder Matias Vecino.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the Spanish side are interested in the 30-year-old during the January transfer window while the Biancocelesti are more keen on a move in June when his contract expires.

Vecino’s current deal at Inter runs out at the end of June, and there is little chance of the player agreeing a renewal with the Nerazzurri given that he is largely out of favour.

The Uruguayan will leave in the summer at the latest but could also depart this month, with Valencia showing a serious interest in his signature.

The Biancocelesti are considering a move for Vecino in the summer on a free transfer but could also look to sign him this month, while it remains to be seen whether Valencia would be able to make an offer which both Vecino and Inter would accept.
