Inter forward Alexis Sanchez has declined an offer to join Spanish side Real Betis this month.

This according to Italian news outlet L’Interista, who report that the Sevilla-based club have made an offer to sign the 33-year-old during the January transfer window, but that he is not interested.

Sanchez had looked to be potentially on his way out at the Nerazzurri earlier in the season, when he was vocal about being unhappy with the lack of playing time he was receiving upon returning from a calf injury that ruled him out of the start of the campaign.

However, the Chilean has become a more regular fixture in the starting eleven over the past few weeks, including coming off the bench to score the winner against Juventus in the Supercoppa Italiana.

Betis are among the sides still interested in Sanchez’s signature, but at the moment he has no interest in joining the La Liga club.
