Lautaro Martinez is set to start in attack for Inter in this evening’s Coppa Italia clash with Empoli, as he has shaken off a minor fitness problem.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who include the 24-year-old in their predicted starting eleven for the fixture.

Martinez will be partnered with fellow Argentine Joaquin Correa in the frontline, with Simone Inzaghi set to completely rotate his attack from the duo of Alexis Sanchez and Edin Dzeko who started against Atalanta over the weekend.

Meanwhile, the Gazzetta expects significant rotations throughout the starting eleven, with the likes of Andrea Ranocchia, Federico Dimarco, Matias Vecino, and Roberto Gagliardini among the players who they expect to come into the team to face the Tuscans.

The Gazzetta’s complete predicted starting eleven as the Nerazzurri kick their Coppa Italia campaign off for the season is as follows:

INTER (3-5-2): Radu; D’Ambrosio, Ranocchia, Dimarco; Dumfries, Vecino, Vidal, Gagliardini, Darmian; Lautaro, Correa.
