Inter forward Alexis Sanchez has been included in the Chilean national team squad for the World Cup qualifiers during the upcoming international break, whilst Nerazzurri teammate Arturo Vidal misses out.

Chile head coach Martin Lasarte has released his official 29-man squad for the matches over the break, with Sanchez included but Vidal not included in the team due to suspension.

Sanchez remains one of La Roja’s star men, and he will hope that he can keep his recent form for his club, where he has worked his way into the starting eleven on a regular basis and was the goalscoring hero in the Supercoppa Italiana, over to the national team.

His club and international teammate Vidal, meanwhile, will miss both of the two World Cup qualifiers in January and February through suspension as he serves the first two matches of a three-game ban following his red card against Ecuador in November.
