Former Inter striker Antonio Cassano has said that the Scudetto race will end up being between Napoli and Inter until the end of the season, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media.
Speaking whilst on Bobo TV on Twitch, via FCInter1908, Antonio Cassano had a lot of praise for Napoli boss Luciano Spalletti and said that the Azzurri are the only team that will stay with Inter in the race for the Serie A title.
“Spalletti is creating a masterpiece. Napoli is the only team that for their playing style, philosophy and depth can stay with Inter until the end in the race for the Scudetto.”
Napoli were the team to beat during the early stages of the season and at one point they had the opportunity to go 10 points clear of Inter when they faced them.
Inter won that match and since then have been unbeatable. Napoli meanwhile has suffered a number of injuries to key players such as Victor Osimhen and Kalidou Koulibaly which has derailed their progress.
They are four points off of Inter who have a game in hand.
