Inter are closer to signing Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi than Juventus but are behind the Bianconeri in the race for Gianluca Scamacca, according to a report in the Italian broadcast media today.

As has been reported by Sport Mediaset, via FCInter1908, Inter and Juventus are locked in a battle for two of Sassuolo’s young Italian stars, Davide Frattesi and Gianluca Scamacca.

It is clear that Sassuolo are in no rush to sell the players but are aware that they likely will not have a choice once the bids start to come in.

Inter are further ahead in the race to sign Davide Frattesi as sporting director Piero Ausilio has been working on that transfer for the summer for a long time now.

The situation is reversed in regards to Gianluca Scamacca because Juventus have been in contact with the player’s entourage for much longer than Inter has but hope is not lost.
